WHICH TERMS APPLY TO YOU
We offer two types of service engagements and different terms apply to each:
Website purchases — service packages purchased directly through our website checkout (such as mood board creation). The terms below apply to these purchases.
Higher-value design packages — bespoke customized interior design services where you have signed a separate Services Agreement and Order Form with us. The cancellation, termination and refund terms in that signed agreement apply to those engagements exclusively. Please refer to your signed agreement.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS
All digital product sales are final once the product has been made available for download or access. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
If a digital product is defective or corrupted, notify us as soon as reasonably practicable at support@myinteriordesigners.com.au and we will provide a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate on a case by case basis.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
WEBSITE-PURCHASED SERVICE PACKAGES — CANCELLATION
Cancellation is only available before work has commenced.
If you wish to cancel before work has commenced, contact us in writing at support@myinteriordesigners.com.au as soon as possible. If no work has commenced at the time of your notice, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Once work has commenced, cancellation is no longer available. Work is taken to have commenced when we begin any briefing review, research or design activity in connection with your order, whether or not any output has been delivered to you yet.
If you wish to end your engagement after work has commenced, please see Termination below.
WEBSITE-PURCHASED SERVICE PACKAGES — TERMINATION AFTER COMMENCEMENT
If you wish to end a service engagement after work has commenced:
- fees for work completed to the date of termination are non-refundable;
- a refund of fees paid for Services not yet commenced will be provided; and
- any deliverables completed and paid for will be provided to you.
Contact us at support@myinteriordesigners.com.au to discuss. We will assess the stage of work completed and confirm the position in writing.
CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION BY US
We may cancel your order before work commences for any reason. If no work has commenced, a full refund will be provided.
Once work has commenced, if we need to end the engagement we will provide you with 10 days' written notice where possible. Upon termination:
- we will refund fees paid for Services not yet performed;
- we may retain fees for Services already performed and costs reasonably incurred; and
- any deliverables completed and paid for will be provided to you.
We may terminate immediately without notice where you engage in unreasonable or abusive conduct, fail to provide required information, or your conduct prevents us from delivering the Services.
CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULING
If your service package includes a consultation, you may reschedule as follows:
- More than 48 hours' notice — rescheduled at no charge
- Between 24 and 48 hours' notice — rescheduled at no charge, subject to availability
- Less than 24 hours' notice or failure to attend — the full fee is retained and the service is taken to have been delivered
You may reschedule a maximum of 3 times. Further rescheduling is at our discretion.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our services and products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable law.
